Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our virtual private servers, cloud dedicated environments, billing rules, and support actions.
What is the difference between VPS and VDS?
A VPS (Virtual Private Server) shares physical host CPU threads and memory allocations with other containers under hypervisor control. A VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server) provides fully isolated hardware cores, RAM capacities, and NVMe partitions reserved strictly for your system.
How long does server activation take?
VPS and VDS servers are provisioned automatically. Once payment is confirmed, our automated orchestration script builds your server, installs the selected OS, and emails login credentials in under 60 seconds.
Do you offer backups?
Yes, we offer automated offsite backup integrations. You can purchase automated snapshot schedules during check-out or rent FTP/SFTP backup storage space to configure custom backups.
Is DDoS Protection included?
Absolutely. Every server deployed on Okejos is protected by our automated network scrubbing shield. It blocks volumetric DDoS attacks up to 10 Tbps free of charge.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade your CPU, RAM, or storage capacities anytime directly from your client area. System upgrades are completed without data loss, requiring only a simple server reboot.
